A new type of floor lamp has been added to the Paname collection, the range of high-end designer lighting created in collaboration with designers Normal Studio. Following on from the Paname pendant & ceiling lights and the Paname Mini and Paname Nano wall lights, discover the famous Paname grilles in a floor lamp version.

In this new version, the brand’s emblematic tubular luminaires are wrapped in a frame that stabilizes the luminaire vertically, while adding a new design dimension.

Thanks to their integrated switch and cord, the floor lamps in the Paname collection will find their place perfectly in interiors, and particularly in noble rooms (living room, dining room, office…), offering total spatial autonomy and a new freedom of use.

Anchored to the ground in a black metal structure with a noble sandblasted finish, the Belleville, Monceau and Vendôme models are presented in a 1.55 m high version, offering aplomb and stature to characterful interiors. These floor lamps, all dimmable, can be flamboyant or soothing, depending on the shade chosen for their louvres, adapting to different moods throughout the day.

Since 2014, Éloi Chafaï et Jean-François Dingjian, both designers with the Normal Studio agency, have been appointed artistic directors of the Sammode brand. Starting in 2015, they designed three versions of the company’s iconic tubular luminaire that emancipate themselves from the wall – wall or ceiling – and enable them to be used both indoors and out: the Astrup table lamp, the Balke floor lamp and the Bodom floor lamp. The 2018 Paname collection pays tribute to the tubular luminaire by dressing it in perforated metal grids with elegant motifs: Rivoli, Vendôme, Monceau and Belleville.

Ceiling, pendant, floor or wall lights: luminaires for every use

The luminaires in the Paname collection are characterised by their long tubular LED shape. With its three LED modules, the Belleville provides 360° diffuse lighting. The Monceau and Vendôme provide 180° lighting thanks to six LED bulbs distributed along the length of the luminaire.

From these standard luminescent tubes, Sammode has created a range of luminaire sizes to suit different domestic uses. Little sisters to these large pendant lights, the Mini models are ideal for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The Nano are the smallest wall lights in the range, and will soon be joined by a chandelier. The Floor floor lamp is the latest addition to the Paname collection.
