The M3 table lamp was designed in 1952 by the French designer, Michel Mortier. Its elegant curved tube, in black metal, serves as a stand and as the pivot for the coloured shade. With it hung as a wall light by means of its wall fixture accessory, you can direct its light to suit your needs: downwards for intimate lighting, like a reading light, or upwards for indirect lighting covering walls and ceiling. All our luminaires are manufactured, assembled and packaged at our Châtillon-sur-Saône production plant in the Vosges region of France.

In the early 1950s, Michel Mortier designed a series of luminaires that he named with a simple “M”: “M1”, “M2”, “M3“, and so on. They were all produced by the lamp manufacturer Disderot.
